How Should a Blog Be?
Do people still blog? The term “blog” seems incredibly quaint and outdated. Blogging seems like a relic of the Bush era, and all of the people who were once bloggers have gone onto careers in traditional media or whatever it is that Glenn Greenwald does now. I am, however, also a relic of the Bush era, an aging man who has been cursed to continue selling “Catch-22” over and over to college students until I finally expire; I keep getting older, and the purchasers of “Slouching Towards Bethlehem” stay the same age. I am too old to attempt to learn TikTok; therefore, in this space I will have a web log. I am not sure what it will be for, but the design template came preloaded with a tab for “Blog” and I started writing this before I figured out how to delete the tab (which I have since figured out, but it’s too late, I am a blogger now). Most likely this space will just be photos of Googey in little costumes with the caption “Pirate Googey” or “Doctor Googey” or “Pinhead Googey”.
